The placemats are produced by braiding long strands of Lutindzi grass together. These plaits are then woven, coiled, shaped, and sewn together.
Lutindzi grass is harvested directly from the eSwatini mountains. The sisal, a regenerating weed, is sourced from the Lavumisa area.
All the materials are dyed using environment-friendly German dyes imported from South Africa.
Easy to clean with a damp cloth or brush with a tooth brush/sponge.
32cm / 12" - this may vary slightly due to the placemats being handmade.
