Michaela grew up in a small village in the Austrian countryside wearing typical folklore clothing called Tracht. She learned to knit at an early age, a skill passed down from her mother. Having graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, under the tutelage of Raf Simons, Michaela knits the first piece in every new style in her collection herself.
